I am currently an Information Technology Specialist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology located in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Prior to working at NIST, I was a Visual Information Specialist for the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia. I worked for the Office of Communications under the Executive Office of the Chief of Police, Robert J. Contee III.

I started my career with a fantastic mentorship with Tom Prather from The Blue Wave. Through that I traveled to Ocean City, Maryland; Rutgers University, New York City, and all around Maryland. I've filmed with firefighters going into "training" burning buildings, I've filmed mall and car commercials, restaurant & bar tv spots, guest taught a college class, and even filmed for local beaches, scenic trails, and bike paths.

Working with RBI (RealEstate Business Intelligence) I did their monthly videos to subscribers. I worked in tandem with Real Estate Agents to promote houses and give monthly reports on how different regions within the DC, MD, VA area were doing. I produced, filmed, and edited 20+ web videos within 2 weeks to meet company deadlines every month.

I have worked with the 850 TriCaster, Blackmagic ATEM Live Production switchers, multiple cameras (Sony, Canon, and Blackmagic URSA) and multiple lighting kits (ARRI and Kino Flo) through VOLi. I have collaborated with big data companies like IBM and Recovery Point, to Biotech companies like AstraZeneca, MedImmune, and Pfizer. More notably I have worked with the Nobel Prize Inspiration Initiative and Nobel Media in following Nobel Laureates. I've also worked with the FDA in their Public Advisory Committee meetings.

Within the United States Patent and Trademark Office, I worked and filmed with exemplary inventors such as: Vint Cerf (Internet), Dean Kamen (Segway), Lonnie Johnson (Super Soaker), Temple Grandin (Animal Behavior), and Martine Rothblatt (Sirius XM Radio/United Therapeutics) to name a few. I helped manage the largest conference center in Alexandria, VA and all their smaller conference rooms throughout their campus.

Being in this business has prepared me to be quick and efficient. It has taught me to know turnaround time can change from hour to hour, and to work in stride with employees, clients, and employers.

I've enjoyed my career so far and it has led me to capture some breathtaking scenes and occasions. I can't wait to capture more memories, moments, and events in the future.
